Post-mod guide for XBox - What to do now

First a “Cover our ass” disclaimer:
I, A-Dubb, and -K as well as it’s staff is not responsible for any damage you may incur to your Xbox and/or yourself by following this tutorial. You have been warned, fucktard.
I wanna start this off by dropping some knowledge that the Xbox modding community doesn’t want everybody to know, but in order to get the files you want/need for the Xbox you must know this. I’m going into example mode now so hold your seat, or not, whatever you want to do is fine with me (If you’re female and all you wanna do is use me for your sexual needs and could care less about the Xbox, my email is at the bottom of the page, we’ll talk).
Let’s say, you just modded your Xbox and you’re stoked about it, It’s making your panties wet just thinking about all the goodness now available to you and your Xbox. Well you obviously want you some of that Xbox Media Center Action you’ve been hearing about for starters, but what’s this? CVS? Source code? Compiling? XDK? This shit is making your head spin. Don’t worry, this is just a way for the XBMC people to cover their ass, XDK (Xbox Developers Kit) is illegal for anybody who isn’t making an Xbox game (People like EA) to have which is why they want you compile it yourself on the web. You don’t care though, you want a ready-to-use version of XBMC to put on your Xbox, but every time you ask on forums and such where to get this ready-to-use version you’re met with the “The usual places n00b fucknut!!!!11111!!!!!1!!!1″ post. What the shit is “The Usual Places” you’re asking yourself, well, I’m going to explain it to you. This usual place they speak of is #XBINS on Efnet, that’s right, IRC, but that’s only a cloaked way to get the stuff you need. You must message the server, you’ll then get an FTP addy and a user and pass that works only once. You then gain access to everything you could ever dream of in the way of homebrew apps and games for the Xbox. Oh, what’s this? You don’t know shit about IRC? Normally I’d tell you “Too fucking bad, learn or don’t get this stuff, simple as that.” but I’m a lazy and I feel all you lazy people out there, I also feel you people who have no IRC knowledge. I came across what I like to call a “Lazy Script” that not only connects to #XBINS and messages the server for a user and pass for you automatically, it also launches it’s own FTP client when it’s ready and all you have to do is press Connect to get into the XBINS FTP server for all that Xbox goodness. I now offer this script to you:
XBINS-TIRC.rar
Once in, you’ll notice tons of stuff for your Xbox. You’re about to have a white sticky accident in your pants you’re so excited, go ahead and blow, I’ll wait. You done? Good, let’s continue. You probably want to know how to get all this on your Xbox, it can be simple or hard depending on some situations. You can either FTP the Xbox via Evo-X’s (Which comes with most modchips and and softmods) built in already-running FTP server by connecting the Xbox to your router or network switch via a CAT-5 (Ethernet) cable and FTP’ing 192.168.0.3 user/pass being xbox for both. Now if this is not an option for you, you’re still in luck if you have a CD and/or DVD burner, but you’ll need a Windows app that’s free for download called CraXtion (Link). What this proggy does is makes the files for upload readable for the Xbox. To use it you must first make a folder on your desktop and unrar XBMC (For example) into that folder. Then you run CraXtion, tell it you want to make a new ISO. It will open a little box that shouldn’t be too unfamiliar to you XP users. Select the folder on the desktop you made with XBMC in it and click OK. CraXtion will then try to patch the XBE in the folder (XBE = Xbox compatible EXE), XBMC comes patched so it will tell you that. you then proceed to press the Create button in the special window inside CraXtion. Your ISO is made, now just use Nero to burn your image to a CD-RW or DVD-RW, then put it into the Xbox. Now here’s where things can get shitty and/or confusing depending on what’s going on. Look for boXplorer in your Evo-X apps. Don’t see it? Ok, look through your apps for something called “LTools” and launch that. Don’t have LTools or boXplorer? You’re fucked if you can’t FTP into the box. Bring your box to a friend’s house to FTP into it or do whatever, just get into that box. Then go into XBINS FTP and get boXplorer and upload it to E:/Apps (Create the folder via FTP if you must). Then you may use your disc with boXplorer.
Navigating boXplorer can suck bad at first, but after a little while of using it, it becomes more of a second rate Windows Explorer. I’m going to give you a quick tip of the simple functions. There’s 2 boxes at your disposal, box A (Left trigger on your Xbox controller) and box B (Right trigger). Box A will be showing the C:/ drive and box B will be showing Your E/: drive. Go to box A and press the white button on your Xbox controller. This should bring up a nifty little box that has some really cool options in it. Select Drive should be highlighted at the top of this little menu. Go ahead and press X on your game pad. Now you’re met with a list of partition drives, select your D:/ drive as this is your DVD-ROM drive for your Xbox. There’s XBMC, you may now change your underwear that you crapped when you found out boXplorer wasn’t on your Xbox, I’ll wait. Fresh and clean now? Good, we’re fucking moving on because my fat lazy ass has next to no attention span and I’m tired of waiting for you, stop being a retard. Now let’s head on over to box B again shall we. Select your apps folder (If you don’t have one you can create one by using the nifty-ass white button again and selecting Create Folder, the rest is easy if you read everything on the screen and do what it says) and and create a folder called “XBMC” and select it after it’s created. Go right on back to box A, now use that blue button to highlight every last thing you see in box A. Once it’s all selected go ahead and use that white button we talked about earlier. Slide down that list to Copy and select it. Now follow the directions and you’ll have XBMC on your drive ready to go. Use the damn white button again and select “Exit to dashboard”. You can now select Launch Menu from Evo-X, then select Apps and XBMC will be right there so go ahead and select it. Hey! Don’t piss yourself or I’ll backhand you, what the fuck did I say about that, I’m not waiting anymore! Now to add other stuff, do the same thing. To add games that you’ve downloaded, do the same thing as above, only this time create a folder in the E:/ drive called “Games” and copy over to that one.
You’re probably wondering how to do it the FTP way, if you got into said FTP that is. This is the simplest way possible. Just get the app you want, extract it from the zip/rar file to your desktop, then do drag and drop from your FTP client into the E/Apps or E/Games folder and you’re all set.
Just a quick note so I don’t get angry Emails saying I never told you that you had to mod XML or CFG files for certain apps to work and that you’re going to find me and cut my penis off and choke me to death with it, check with the website and/or any text or NFO file included with the app/game to see if any files need to be modded prior to install on your Xbox.
There you have it. It seems complicated and confusing, but once you do it you’ll realize it’s not so hard. You’ll begin to thank me, then offer me your sister, girlfriend, mother or all 3 for the night to do with as I please just to thank me, and I must iterate that this is totally necessary and vital or your Xbox will exploded and kill you.
