Bad Mojo and Altoids

Posted on December 21st, 2008 by A-Dubb in Randomness

*Note; This post contains niether mojo (of any kind) or Altoids, gotcha looking though didn’t it?

I want to start off by thanking Mother Nature for spilling 2′ of that white, flaky, and cold peroid blood we call snow all at once. I really enjoyed digging out my car early this week. Oh would you look at that you’re doing it again. Thank you so fucking much, you’re peach, you really are.

Onto the real topic at hand, 1 guy 1 cup, if you haven’t seen it yet, there’s the link. I’ll describe it for the squimish: Read the rest of this entry »

Why God hates Michigan

Posted on December 18th, 2008 by fizzle in Randomness

Why does $deity hate Michigan? Nobody is really sure. One thing that is for sure though, is that $deity does in fact hate Michigan, moreso than the rest of the north-east, upper mid-west, whatever the hell you want to call the region the mitten sits in, $deity hates it.

Why is Paula Dean not dead yet?

Posted on December 10th, 2008 by fizzle in Randomness

I happen to enjoy Food Network. Perhaps it is because I am such a manly man, or because it is the home of my future wife Rachel Ray, or just because I’m a fat guy who likes food. Whatever the reason is, I watch it somewhat regularly. One show I do not watch, however, is any show Paula Dean is a part of.  However, I have watched her show(s) on a few occasions, and I must say, Jesus Christ woman, what are you doing still alive? PC turns 40 years old today

Posted on December 9th, 2008 by fizzle in Current Events

Thats right! 40 years ago today, the first personal computer ever to be seen was unveiled to the eyes of a crowd more shocked than when Noah parted the red sea, or whatever it was he did. An astronomical 1,000 people showed up on December 8th, 1968 in San Fransisco, and rumor has it, at least 3 of them were not virgins. This wacky new device boasted an interactive screen, and it even had a manual movement device, which they eerily called a “Mouse”, presumably because it was connected via a wire..and…it looked like a tail? Spam sales are up in America

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by fizzle in Current Events

And not the type of spam you’d think we’d be talking about here at our mostly tech-related website. No, in fact we’re talking about the pseudo-food seen here, not the annoying links for v!@gr@ or c!4l1s that you find in your spam box all the time, and once in a while one will sneak through to your inbox. No, not that spam. Here are the facts: Sales of Spam®©™ are on the up, at least in the United States, as of recently. Read the rest of this entry »

Why buying a real christmas tree is stupid

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by fizzle in Rants

It’s getting to be that time again. Time for milk and cookies, buying people you don’t even like something that you hope they will hate, fat guys coming down chimneys after landing his flying rodent’s on household roofs across America. It’s Christmas time! One of the most popular things for an American (and presumably, most other nations that celebrate Christmas in one way or another) is to chop down a big ass tree, put it in your living room, throw some funky-colored lights on it, maybe some really thin glass balls, usually some annoying ass shiny string that you end up pulling out of your cats ass after he tries to move it through his lower intestines and fails. Al Qaeda Terrorist Lego - Not such a great gift idea?

Posted on December 4th, 2008 by fizzle in Current Events

islamic extremist terrorist lego

Here’s an idea. Get your 7 year old one of these new fancy Masked Islamic Terrorist lego’s to show how badass the space policeman lego figure can be in the fight against terrorism. Who knows, maybe the guy with a feather on his chest will be the one that eventually captures Osama Bin Laden in your child’s Lego fantasies. Or going one step further into your son or daughter’s inevitably fucked up head, they can stage a massive battle on par with west side story meets Broken Arrow meets Schindlers List with the nazi action figures, complete with SS symbol on their little tiny lego armbands.

Well, one company, BrickArms, who is not in any way affiliated with Lego, has made this and more possible with their new line of “What the fuck were they thinking designing this prototype?” lego-style toys, just in time for the holiday season and time for you to definitely, definitely not buy.

Posted on December 3rd, 2008 by fizzle in Randomness

#1. You save a ton of money

Lets crunch some numbers here, shall we? Average cost of a pack of non-generic nasty ass, might as well smoke roasted poop, run of the mill cigarettes across the country is, what, $5.75 per pack? $6 per pack? Right around there, on a national average at least. Anyway, here’s what it costs to roll your own cigarettes:
